This morning we have Breakfast in the Hotel then our guide drops us at the domestic Airport From Kathmandu to Pokhara is quite common when travelling between the two cities. Once you reach Pokhara You may then go ahead to Jhinu Danda.
There are several ways to go from Pokhara to Jhinu Danda. One of the more popular is riding a jeep that most people informally call a ‘jeep’ in Nepal from Pokhara to Nayapul which is where most trekking starts in the Annapurna region. Situated in the middle of the Annapurna region of Nepal, Jhinu Danda is in the vicinity of the Annapurna Base Camp. It is best known for its natural hot springs where trekkers can soak and bathe after a day of trekking. This place is a sought-after place on the Annapurna Short Trek due to its scenic beauty of the extending Himalayan mountains and pleasant nature of the people.

We descend via 2,500 stone steps and cross the bridge above Chhomrong Khola. From here it is an uphill climb to Sinuwa. Next, we pass through a beautiful forest to Kuldihar, followed by an easy downhill walk to Bamboo, where we stay for the night.

We continue our journey and reach Dovan shortly We make our first move with a gentle gradual ascent. Lush forests of oak, pines and rhododendron comes in our way. We walk through Himalaya and bridges over two streams. There are possibilities that we gain views of wild lives such as wild pigs, deer, and maybe even snow leopards. Our further path takes us to Deurali.

This beautiful day greets us with fresh rays of morning light. With a gradual climb, we traverse areas that are prone to avalanches, requiring caution and care throughout the journey. Shortly, we arrive at Bagar and continue toward our ultimate destination, Annapurna Base Camp.
The famous viewpoint reveals spectacular views of Mount Machapuchhre. At a height of 3700 m of Machapuchhre Base Camp, the vegetation covers ends, indicating that we are about to move into the snowy landscapes. We also enter within the limits of the Annapurna Sanctuary which is a reserved area in the Annapurna Himalaya Region. To people who do not have much time, the Annapurna Short Trek is a useful option to these who intend to visit in this beautiful area because it enables the trekkers to spend less time in seeing the magnificence of the Annapurna Base Camp. As of today, our goal is to continue trekking until we arrive at the striking Annapurna Base Camp.

From Bamboo, we start our journey and climb the ascent to lower Chhomrong through Kuldi Ghar and Sinuwa. The elevation from lower region of Chhomrong takes us to the upper region of the place. We then further descend making our way to Jhinu Danda.

Today is transfer day. We start the day with breakfast after which we take a 20-30 minute walk to the jeep station. The next leg of the journey is from the jeep station to Pokhara which takes about 4-5 hours and one gets to enjoy breathtaking views of the Annapurna region. Such rides can be organized by local agencies or accommodation facilities but it is advisable to have a fare bargain before commencing on the journey. The roads are however bumpy and uneven, and owing to the constant beautiful scenario throughout the journey, the ride is very pleasing and extraordinary. Annapurna short trek is a short yet an incredible trek that gives us an unforgettable experience of the Annapurna region.

Adventure White Himalaya Trek in one word is superb ! Upfront communication with Ganesh was very efficient and the trek went very well. Mr Ganesh receive me at the airport took me safe at the hotel at midnight. The day next we started the trek, our guide Bhoj Raj was a star. Amazing life experience!
Trekking for 4 days in a rhododendron forest, waking up to fresh snow and the sunrise at Poon Hill, amazing adventure!!!! I will go back, I will most definitely contact Ganesh to schedule another adventure in the Nepal. He is a hard worker with great knowledge of the area.

We dealt with Ganesh before the trip and are very happy with the service provided. Everything was as promised.
Our guide, Hari, did an excellent job in planning our whole journey and improvising wherever he saw fit. He also was very in tuned with our fitness level and we didn’t feel that we were pushed beyond our capabilities.
Our porter, Gopi, was also very helpful especially in keeping our spirits up during the whole journey.
