1st Day: Arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport of Kathmandu

2nd Day: Kathmandu Drive to Pokhara (6-7 hours)

3rd Day: Pokhara Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Tikhedhunga (2,050 m), 5-6 hours

4th Day: Tikhedhunga Trek to Ghorepani (2,860 m), 6-7 hours

5th Day: Ghorepani Trek to Tadapani(2,600 m), 5-6 hours

6th Day: Tadapani Trek to Chhomrong (2,100 m), 4-5 hours.

7th Day: Chhomrong Trek to Bamboo (2,310 m), 5-6 hours.

8th Day: Bamboo Trek to Deurali (3,230 m), 5-6 hours.

9th Day: Deurali Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700 m), 5-6 hours.

10th Day: Annapurna Base Camp Trek to Bamboo (2,310 m), 6-7 hours.

The best time to do this trek

Any time of the year is suitable to do this trek. Still, monsoon might not be as suitable. There is a probability of heavy rainfall and dark clouds. The bad weather prevents you to view the beautiful ranges clearly. Also, a high number of leeches and slippery ways make trekking quite risky.

Autumn Season

Autumn which prevails from September to November is the best time for this trek. This season brings a dry climate and clear blue skies. The moderate weather offers crisp and unobstructed views of the mountains. With the cool climate, trekking is comfortable with less humidity and less perspiration. If you want to trek in Nepal, autumn is perfect to enjoy its magnificence.

Winter Season

Trekking in Annapurna during winter is possible as it is comparatively less crowded. So, if you’re someone who prefers peace and quiet overcrowding and noise, then do trek in winter. The dry weather brings amazing views of the snow-covered ranges. The only down fact is that it will be very cold and will snow at times. However, with proper equipment and guidance trekking is possible safely.

But, from December-January you have to be extremely careful of avalanches. Snow is a high probability as you ascend higher. The mornings are foggy and very cold nights. But if you’re up for the cold, then you should do it carefully and the professional guidance of NHT. At any time of the year, trekkers should be careful and trek with precision.

Spring Season

Spring is another great season to do this trek. The mild warm weather makes trekking convenient. Spring brings the colorful flowers and greenery in bloom. The weather is perfect with clear skies and glistening mountains. Annapurna region known for its natural beauty is glorious in this season. The rhododendrons of red and white colors are in full bloom. This makes the trails ever so radiant. More so the biodiversity of the exotic flowers makes trekking a fantastic experience you ought not to miss.

Food and Accommodation:

During your stay in Kathmandu and Pokhara, you will be accommodated in a three-star hotel or similar facility whereas, during the trek, teahouse/Lodges are the only options. During the trek, you will be accommodated on a twin-shared basis and a single room is provided at your request with additional cost.

Hygienic foods are provided during the trekking days. We will provide three-times meals during your trek. You can find varieties of options for food such as pizza, pasta, fried rice, and many more but when you are in the mountain Nepali typical Dal, Bhat, and Tarkari is the best. It is fresh, healthy, and fulfilling, plus you can ask for a refill. You will be provided the best food available as per the menu. There will also be welcome and farewell dinners from our side.

Health and Physical Requirements:

ABC trek is a moderate level trek, thus this trek is convenient for individuals, families, and groups who can walk 4–6 hours a day with a light backpack. Walking at a higher altitude requires more physical fitness. But if you are in good health with average physical fitness, you can make this trek.

You need to prepare yourself properly before the trek. Exercising regularly before the trek is a great idea to improve your stamina. Past trekking experience is not compulsory though certainly helpful.
