    Mera peak (6654 m.) is in the World famous place Khumbu Everest Region. Mere peak  stand's to the south of Mt. Everest, Mera peak is regarded as stunning and an  exciting journey. Trekking to Mera Peak is a great opportunity to fulfill one’s dream's, and experience what it is like to stand on a Himalayan Summit.
    Mera is the well-known easier 18 “Trekking peak’s” of Nepal. Our journey start's from lukla, through the Shrepa Village of the remote Khumbu Valley which is an unforgettable experience, offering superb scenery, and abundant wildlife including rumoured sighting's of the legendary Yeti. You can ski descend from the near top. From the top of Mera peak, you can see Mount Everest (8,848m). Mount Kanchanjunga (8,586m). Mount Lhotse (8,516m) Mount Makalu (8,464m). and many other  peaks. Reaching  the top of Mount Mera Peak is like reaching  heaven on Earth.

    Day 01: Arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport of Kathmandu
    Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu for preparation of the trip.
    Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2800m.). Trek Lukla to Chutanga (3050m.), 3-4 hours
    Day 04: Trek from Chutanga to Zatrawala Pass (4610m.) to Zatrabok (4704m.) via Zatrawala Pass (4610m.),4-5 hours
    Day 05: Trek from Zatrabok to Kothey (3090m.), 4-5 hours 
    Day 06: Trek from Kothe to Tangnang (4356m.) (Sabal Tsho-Lake) following Hinku Valley (4600m.), 4-5 hours
    Day 07: acclimatization Day in Thangnang.
    Day 08: Trek from Tangnang to Khare (5,045m.), 5-6 hours.

  • Detail Itinerary
    • Day 1 Arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport of Kathmandu
      You are greeted with a warm welcome from our staff at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. Then you are whisked away to your hotel in private transportation where our guide will brief on the programs on days ahead.
    • Day 2 Free day in Kathmandu for preparation of the trip.
      You will be spending a day touring UNESCO world heritage sites, Boudhanath the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal, famous stupa on hill Swayambhunath, historical Kathmandu Durbar Square and the biggest Hindu shrine Pashupatinath. After sightseeing these wonders, you will be briefed about days ahead on the trek.
    • Day 3 Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2800m.). Trek Lukla to Chutanga (3050m.), 3-4 hours
      This morning we take the short but spectacular flight to Lukla where we meet our crew. We then begin walking for 3 to 4 hours due east from Lukla, passing through a number of tiny hamlets before entering thick forest on the hillside below the Kalo Himal Ridge. Be careful to stay with the group on this section as there are many trails leading away from the main path. There are many streams with numerous places for the first camp, all of which are loosely referred to as Chutanga.
    • Day 4 Trek from Chutanga to Zatrawala Pass (4610m.) to Zatrabok (4704m.) via Zatrawala Pass (4610m.),4-5 hours
      Trek from Chutanga to Zatrabok (4704m.) via Zatrawala Pass (4610m.) You trek steep ascent path to cross Zatrawala Pass. From here you can enjoy the spectacular views of Numbur Himal, Kongdi Ri, Karyolang peak and many other mountains and peaks. Now you walk along the leveled trail for almost one and half hours and then the trail turns downhill and you trek through this descent path all the way to Zatrabok. This is campsite surrounded by hills.
    • Day 5 Trek from Zatrabok to Kothey (3090m.), 4-5 hours
      Trek from Zatrabok to Kothey (3090m.) To reach Kothe you trek steep descent path all the way. En route, you pass forests of juniper, rhododendron and other local vegetation.
    • Day 6 Trek from Kothe to Tangnang (4356m.) (Sabal Tsho-Lake) following Hinku Valley (4600m.), 4-5 hours
      You trek along the bank of river and find bush on both sides. The path is gradual ascent and you can enjoy the views of Kusum Kanguru peak and many more.
    • Day 7 acclimatization Day in Thangnang.
      This is an acclimatization Day at Tangnag. This will be a rest day to let your bodies recover from the past days of hiking. You will relax and soak up the beautiful views of peaks and glaciers surrounding the head of the Hinku Valley.
    • Day 8 Trek from Tangnang to Khare (5,045m.), 5-6 hours.
      Trek from Tangnang to Khare (5045m.) takes about five hours. Today we will climb above (5,000 m.) for the first time. Our hike up to Khare (5,100m, 16,728ft) is short, but we will take it slowly, with frequent stops to soak up the incredible surroundings. The trail heads eastward out of Tangnag along the lateral moraine of the Dig Glacier. We will pause to climb up the moraine for a view of the pristine Sabai Tso glacial lake. A drop in lake level, caused by a recent rupture of the natural dam the held the lake, is clearly visible. We will arrive at Khare in the early afternoon and have lunch. From Khare, the beautiful north face of Mera Peak is in plain view and Mera glacier spills steeply down into the valley.
    • Day 9 Trek from Khare to Mera La (Pass) (5350m.), 4-5 hours
      Today you will travel a short distance, slowly ascending up onto Mera glacier. The climb is initially steep, but flattens out as you reach the crest of the glacier. You will traverse a long flat on top of the glacier as you make your way to the pass, called Mera La (5,400m). From here, the views are stunning. Crevasse fields gently stretch out in front of the pass and you are literally enclosed by a ring of jagged peaks and blue-green glaciers. The remaining route up to the summit of Mera Peak is clearly visible.
    • Day 10 Trek from Mera La (Pass) to Mera Peak High Camp. (5,800m), 5-6 hours
      It’s time to head to Mera Peak High camp. Here we’ll rest for the night. It’s a steep ascent of around 5-6 hours. It offers us wonderful views of the world’s highest peaks of Everest and Makalu, Lhotse and Cho Oyu. Kangchenjunga also stands in very short distance. Here we bunk out in amazing Himalayan location.
    • Day 11 Summit Mera peak - 6654m, back to Rato Odar – (5100m)
      Today we’ll make a beeline to summit of Mera peak. Climbing around 4 to 5 hours leads us to summit. We get wonderful sense of achievement. Excellent views that stop the breath are offered from the top. We start a bit early. We enjoy the views of the highest peaks in the world from the summit. We capture this moment in our camera. Spending few precious time, we descent to Rato Odar for our night. It means “red cave’’.
    • Day 12 Trek from Khare to Kothe (3600m), 4-5 hours
      After enormous success of expedition to Mt. Mera peak it’s time to return back. We descend through Hinku valley to Kothe for our overnight. We leave behind the outstanding Himalayan background and arrive to Kothe. In this night we can enjoy with some local wines and delicious foods. We fully relax at camp.
    • Day 13 Trek from Kothe to Thuli Kharka - 5-6 hours
      Again today, we climb up about two hours. We walk through forest of foliage on the west side of the Hinku Valley. It will be nice walk on red Rhododendron forest. This is unbeaten trails of the Himalayas of Nepal. We can observe the wide range of Mera peaks, Mera South, Mera Central, and Mera North from Thuli Kharka. We will have good night at Thuli kharka.
    • Day 14 Trek from Thuli Kharka to Lukla: 6-7 hours
      Today is our last walk. We will have breakfast and continue downhill to Lukla. Two hours up from Thuli Kharka leads us to Zatrwa La Pass. Cho yu, Kongde peak, Numbur Himal, Kusum Kangaru are some peaks which we observe from the top of pass. Crossing this pass we can observe Lukla valley. Reaching on Lukla we make confirmation of our flight, take hot shower and start final trek celebration.
    • Day 15 Flight to Kathmandu.
      We will be going to Kathmandu through Lukla airport. On the way you'll be receiving the pleseant farewell from the sights of entire Himalayan range, east to the center part till the Langtang Himalayan range. You will be whisked away to Thamel after your arrival at domestic terminal, afterwards there will be post trek meeting with feedback section to share you expreience and thoughts on the trek
    • Day 16 Departure from Tribhuwan International Airport
      Our staff will be ready to drive our customers to the airport at least three hours before the scheduled departure.
